Oraculum
A downloadable game
This is my entry for the 2025 One Page RPG Jam. See the rest here: https://itch.io/jam/one-page-rpg-jam-2025.
Oraculum is my attempt at distilling all of the rules, tools, and procedures I need to play a satisfying solo RPG into one page.
Here are a few key tenets:
- Uses Story Loops and Action Loops to proceduralize gameplay.
- Simple 1d6 resolution mechanic.
- Tag-based bonuses: any Skill or Item that helps you in an action can add a bonus.
- Narrative-first gameplay.
- A whole page of tables to generate quests, encounters, yes/no/combat results, monsters, loot, and more.
in play, this system works similarly to something like Ironsworn. The idea isn't to always succeed perfectly, but rather to have interesting failures & mixed successes that push your story forward.
I hope you enjoy this game! Let me know in the comments if you played it, if you liked it, and if you'd like to see any specific type of supplements made for this system to further expand it, such as: dungeon procedures & tables, light source rules, more specific monster or loot tables, etc.

I absolutely love the tables to this game and the concept of story loops and action loops. It is not something I have seen before. I like how it really streamlines the game. There is a procedure to everything.
Honestly the tables alone are a great selling point especially as someone who plays a lot of OSR games.
Also I think there is an error on the itch.io page. You mean Rogue & Dagger as the title of the game but say "Rogue & Dungeon".
Otherwise awesome game and I am excited to play this more with others in the future hopefully.
Thanks for checking it out, and the heads up on the mistake! I've fixed that.
I really appreciate the kind words about the game & tables. I really wanted to build something that I could tuck in a small notebook easily and get a lot of mileage out of it, and I think the combo of tables included achieves that (mostly).
I appreciate that. Since I love a strong couple of tables.
